This note explains, in plain language, what happens to the details you give us through this website.

What the request form collects

• Your name and phone number
• Your email address, if you choose to give it
• Your suburb and, if you give it, your street address
• The service you're interested in, who it's for, and the date and time of day that suit you
• Anything you write in the "What do you need help with?" box
• That you agreed to us contacting you about the request

How it reaches us

When you press "Send my request", the form sends your details over an encrypted connection to our own booking system (ops.doolah.com.au, on our server in Sydney, Australia). The request goes into a list that only our staff can see after signing in. Any email alert we get about a new request doesn't include your name or contact details.

If online sending isn't available at that moment, the form opens your own email app with a message to hello@doolah.com.au already filled in instead. Nothing is sent until you press send in your email app.

To stop automated spam, our system keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address for two days to count how many requests come from it. The request itself doesn't store your internet address.

How we use it

We use your details only to contact you about your request, arrange the service and send invoices. When a visit is booked, we share only what's needed (such as the address and the job details) with the staff member or contractor doing the work.

We don't sell your details or use them for advertising.

How long we keep it

Requests that turn into a booking become part of our customer records. Requests that don't go ahead are cleared out regularly. We keep booking records for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations.

Cookies and tracking

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it doesn't load anything from other companies' servers. The only other address it contacts is our own booking system when you send the form.
